    Graduated Cornell with AB in 1921, Johns Hopkins Medical School with MD in 1925.  Interned at Jefferson Hospital.  Practice at Richland, Virginia 1926/8, Long Island College Hospital 1928/30, Peekskill, NY 1930/42.  WWI: QM 1st C Merchant Mar, 1918/9.  WWII: Maj Medical Corps AUS.  Practiced Sarasota, FL 1946-1957.  Methodist-Episcopalian, Republican.  Member Sarasota County Medical Association.
    A fellow doctor in Sarasota once said, "Ted was very quiet and unassuming but could astound you with his encyclopedic knowledge of every patient and friend he had ever met."  He had an amazing memory for dates, names, places, and events.  He was conscientious to a fault but he had a great sense of humor.  His hobby was railroads, which dated back to 1908, when his uncle showed him through the Pennsylvania Railroad shops in Altoona, PA.  He was also interested in genealogy and became acquainted through correspondence with other Trousdales while Theodore M. Trousdale, Jr. was in the Navy.  He left a rich heritage of friends.
