33.  ALEXANDER FERGUSON4 TROUSDALE (ALEXANDER3, JOHN2, JOHN1) was born Bet. September 12 - 22, 1805 in "on the Cumberland River in Montgomery Co., TN", and died March 09, 1890 in Paradise Valley, NV.  He married (1) <UNNAMED>.    He married (2) FANNY JONES July 26, 1828 in White Co., IL.  She was born October 08, 1808 in Lynchburg, VA, and died June 09, 1864 in White Co., IL.

    Alexander, "Sandy", was a school teacher and a Cumberland Presbyterian minister.  In 1828 he had a subscription school of 18 students at $10.00 per month exclusive of board (Gallatin Co. Hist.).  In 1848 he was school commissioner.  In the 1850 Census he was a farmer and landowner living in Carmi (twn), White Co., IL.  In 1853 he went west following the gold rush and never returned to Illinois.  He settled at Paradise Valley, NV, later going to California where he remained for several years, but he finally returned to Paradise Valley where he died.
    He married for a second time in California.
